• Q: What was your highlight of 2011?
• Nick Santino: Probably headlining in Jakarta. Jakarta is a weird place, but that show was unreal. The fans were unreal. There were 4000 people at the show and it was the first time we were ever over there. They were all singing along to our songs and I don’t think that’s something I will ever forget. That was the first international thing I had ever done and it was the best thing I have ever done.

“We played a show in Indonesia a couple of weeks ago and it was the first time we’d ever played there. We sold out a 4,000 person venue. It was amazing. I do this thing on stage at every show where I take a minute to look out into the crowd and appreciate our fans and the fact that they’ve come out just to see us play and to appreciate that moment. I did it at that show and it was so emotional. After the show I went back to my hotel room and rang my parents and cried for about an hour. I’ve never felt that way before.”
